We Started the 105th Celebration with a rumble on Tuesday August 19th! at
Central Maine Harley Davidson in Herman. Cheryl Oliver introduced Jim McCaslin
the C.O.O. of Harley Davidson. The Band started around 4PM with a powerful
performance by Cheryl.
While the beer was flowing, the band "No Warning" performed. Bangor-based radio WKIT-100.3 FM was on hand from 1 to 4 p.m. doing a live broadcast, the Maine Army Guard collected nonperishable items for soldiers overseas, and local Special Olympics representatives sold raffle tickets for a new 2008 Harley.
Day 1:
5am: chilly morning, 49degrees in Old Town, upper 30s coming from Lincoln
1st stop Central Maine Harley Davidson in Hermon for Breakfast
Destination: Colchester, Vt.
Day 2:
What a ride! we decided to go the LONG way to the next destination today the "official scenic route" by the Adirondack Mountains, what a site to see if you have never been there, its well worth the extra time spent, just a few of the places saw today: Lake Placid, Blue Mt Lake, the Olympic Ski slope and so many more great sites, the Mountains them self's were stunning to say the least. So glad I had my Pro Pad seat cover to keep me dry and comfortable for the long haul. Go check out the Pic's page and see for yourself, and wile your there see the new friends that we hooked up with on the ride in, they are from Milwaukee, and a great group of people to enjoy the ride home with, check out the link page and see their web site, and check out Hal's Harley (Hal's riding alone with them) We will get back in here the first chance , have a great day,
